Chapter 6 is completed and up. Terrorism! Telepathy! Thoreau! This has it all.

Read it from the beginning here or go straight to ch. 6, "The October Crisis".

I am enjoying this fic, even though in many ways it doesn't resemble most fanfic, so I hope other people are at least reading it. Feedback of all varieties is craved -- particularly criticism.

Hey there.

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I am reading "The Aphanes" and really enjoying it. I just caught up on chapters 3-6.

I've having trouble with delivering timely and articulate feedback recently. (I'll try harder with the next chapter.) But I bet there are a lot of people out there, lurking and reading and feeling too intimidated to comment.

It's just such a beautiful, realistic and I-don't-know, far-reaching fic.

I'm looking forward to reading the next part.

Chapter six was really great. Oh wow! An XMMFF with Can-Con and Rheos! What more could I ask?

Adding to the chorus! I've been following your fiction for a while, and have been loving it, and falling in love Joel, *hard*. I swear I'll email you an extremely detailed R&R when the hounds of hell stop nipping at my feet finals are over.
